Teachers…have you ever wanted to provide a unique educational
experience to your students? Do you want access to “hands-on” resources
that are not found in the classroom? Do you want your students
to really experience science? The Oil Sands Discovery Centre
can provide that and more! Our knowledgeable interpreters provide
curriculum-related education programs to students from Kindergarten
to Grade 8. All programs feature "hands-on" activities
such as science experiments, games, drama, and tours of the Centre.
All programs take place at the Centre and teacher resource packages
are available for each program.
The education programs at the Oil Sands Discovery Centre are
proudly sponsored by Shell/Albian Sands Energy Inc., so no fees
will be charged to the schools to participate.
